ドートリー / イッツノットオーバー

79年ノース･キャロライナ出身の28歳。彼もElliott Yaminと同じアメリカン･アイドルの5シーズン出身。
オーディションではQUEENやFUELを歌い、正統派ロックアーティストとして、優勝の最有力候補だったけど惜しくも4位に。。ただこれには、当然彼が優勝するものとみんなが思い、投票しなかったという噂も。。

1stシングルは BON JOVIのカバーで「Wanted Dead Or Alive」。はBillboard Chartsで初登場43位。そしてこの11月発売の2ndシングルでは4位にランクイン。19週経った今でもトップ10内で健在です！誰もが素直に受け入れやすいものでありながら、それだけ味のある最近数少ないストレート・ロックな曲です。

１stアルバムの「DAUGHTRY」では、「It's Not Over」やシングルカットされた「Home」の他「What I Want」「Feels Like Tonightofficial」渋くてカッコよくてかなりGood。
彼が、企画番組American Idol出身という偏見は必要ないでしょう。むしろミュージシャンとしての道を諦めかけていた時に、この番組で一躍脚光を浴びて、彼の歌を聴くことができることに感謝したい。。
